Description
Write Action was founded in 1999. Our mission statement: Write Action seeks to strengthen a community of writers in the Brattleboro area; and to encourage, nurture, and promote the literary arts in the at-large community. Write Action sends out a bi-weekly newsletter to over 400 subscribers; has an annual poetry and prose contest; gives out high school awards for excellence in creative writing and journalism to Brattleboro High School seniors; joins with other arts organizations and environmental or social service non-profits for special events; holds open readings 3rd Friday of every month.
