Description

Whether you’re looking for corporate materials, development/editing of website content, or even a book-length manuscript critique/overhaul, this is the right place for you. As a seasoned editor and published author, I pride myself on being knowledgeable about today’s publishing-industry standards. I always provide my clients with great-looking final products AND exceptional service, while meeting their deadlines in a timely manner at affordable pricing. I freelance as a writer, editor, instructor, and multimedia consultant. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Writing (Spalding U., Louisville, KY). While there, I served as Editor for The Louisville Review. Along with a B.A. (Rutgers U.) and M.A. in Anthropology (Binghamton U.), I am a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature. Not only am I a Vermont Arts Council featured artist, but I also worked as the Council’s catalog Editor for its Art of Action Project.

My published work includes fiction, creative non-fiction, literary criticism, journalism, poetry, biography, and photography, having appeared in the Burlington Free Press, Public Republic, Tecumseh Herald, The Times Ink!, The Hinesburg Record, Vermont Catholic Tribune, and League Lines. A sample of my published writing can be viewed at Public Republic, an online literary magazine. Professionally, I am a member of the League of Vermont Writers (having served twice on its Board of Directors), Phi Beta Kappa, SCBWI, and a former member of AWP.
