Description
As an Expressive Writing facilitator, I am not your typical writing instructor. My workshops and conference presentations are always hands-on with the focus on process, not product. I offer coaching, groups and workshops for writers who need help overcoming blocks, for anyone who wants to access their creativity in their art or their business, and for those seeking well-being and/or enlightenment through therapeutic, meditative writing. I have run stress-release/well-being classes and presentations for teachers and college students, at yoga centers, and at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Experience: Expressive Writing Facilitator since 2009, Owner of The Writers' Room at Allen House, Freelance Writer, Columnist for Rutland Reader & Rutland Herald, Council Member of Transformative Language Arts Network, Instructor at Castleton University's Center for Schools, Facilitator of "Write to Recover" at Turning Point Recovery Center, Historian, Author of Lilian Baker Carlisle: Burlington Historian (to be released Spring 2017)
Education: MA in Transformative Language Arts, Certified JTTS instructor through the Center for Journal Therapy
