My business, Gail Writes, creates and sustains healthy relationships through highly personalized work with words. In each writing context, there is an important message that needs to be communicated from one person to another. Crafting that message demands a deep understanding of both sender and receiver. It's not simply a matter of getting the message across. This message is part of building something wonderful between people, whether it's a business owner and a potential customer with marketing collateral, an individual and a possible employer with a cover letter, or a speaker and an audience with a conference speech. I've spent most of my professional life learning about both writing and relationships, and this dual understanding sets me apart from other copywriters and editors.

Qualifications
Five years as the founder and owner of successful copywriting and editing business, 20+ years as a journalist, 15 years of teaching including college writing, 30 years in the nonprofit sector which included grantwriting.
